Where in Hochatown

Space Cowboy sits in North Hochatown, the cabin country along US-259 north of Broken Bow, bordering the Ouachita National Forest. You get dark skies and pine views, and you're still close to everything:

  • Hochatown strip (restaurants, breweries, wineries, shops): about 10–15 minutes
  • Broken Bow Lake and the Beavers Bend State Park entrance: about 15 minutes
  • Mountain Fork River for fly fishing and kayaking: about 15–20 minutes
  • Broken Bow (grocery, Walmart, gas): about 20–25 minutes south
  • Dallas–Fort Worth: about 3.5 hours · Oklahoma City and Tulsa: about 4 hours

What makes it different from other Hochatown cabins

Plenty of Hochatown cabins have a hot tub. Space Cowboy is a fully themed space-meets-western retreat: a real geodesic dome suite on the deck (king bed, private bath, fireplace, telescope), a neon-lit arcade and pool table in a game hall whose garage door opens to the fire pit, a barrel sauna, a private pickleball court, putt-putt, a ninja course and a playset. Kids don't know what to run to first.

Sleeps 12 across 5 sleeping spaces

Two king suites, the king dome suite, full-over-full bunks in the game room and a two-twin starry loft, with 3.5 baths. Up to 2 dogs welcome when added to your reservation.

Holiday season in Hochatown

This season both the main cabin and the dome get their own decorated Christmas tree. Cocoa by the fire pit, carols under the stars. Bring the stockings — we've got the trees.
